Having begun my career in the advertising domain I approach my photography from an editorial viewpoint. bringing a refined, creative edge to my work.

My choice of film, lens, shutter speed and aperture alter not only the exposure, but also the perception of reality. The image in my lens becomes my reality, if only for that brief second, documented for eternity.

There is nothing formulaic about my approach or my photography. I am focused on connecting with my subjects, and capturing the sincere likeness of everyone I work with. I describe my style as ‘your style,’ meaning the look of each of my assignments are based on conversations with my clientele, with the knowledge that only with trust, wonder and openness, can the creative process start to unfold. 

I lead with a distinctive form, yet adventurous eye. Traveling the globe, documenting unforgettable moments in time and place, means I have learnt when to step forward and take the lead, or step back and let a moment happen. As a hybrid photographer, I always prefer to shoot on film, I utilize medium format, Super-8 and digital cameras to create visuals that have a sense of nostalgia, romance, composition, and an elevated sense of the setting. The result is a blending of naturally spontaneous moments, and cover-worthy portraits, leaving you reminiscent of the moments we captured together.
